The Avalde Q2 is a Q Switched YAG laser that delivers short bursts of very powerful energy which is absorbed by the pigment in the tattoo or targeted area. The shockwave shatters the pigment particles releasing them from their encapsulation and breaking them into fragments small enough to be removed naturally by the body.
Since the specific wavelengths can only be absorbed by the pigment particles, there will be no damage to the skin or surrounding tissue.
